    How to find Aavya

Aavya has always been a little difficult to find. Tucked up in the hills of Upper Tapovan, off a road that doesn't quite announce itself. The upside? The views are magnificent — mountains, forest, open sky. Some things are worth the hunt.

We're working on it. In the meantime, here's everything you need.

Coming by car or cab? Read this first.

Cars must come via the Secret Waterfall Road — not Balaknath Road. Balaknath narrows sharply and vehicles get stuck. Share this page with your driver before you set off, not when you're already somewhere in the lanes wondering where it all went wrong.

"Aavya Rise, Upper Tapovan — turn left at 60s Café onto Secret Waterfall Road, stop at small bridge near Aarcana Café"

On Badrinath Road heading north through Tapovan, look for 60s Café on your left. Immediately take that left turn uphill — this is Secret Waterfall Road. As you go up, you'll see Deecon Valley on the way — do not enter it, keep going uphill. Continue up and stop at the small bridge, 25 metres before Aarcana Café. Call the guest — our team walks down to meet you.

    You made it to Aavya.

Aavya has always been a little difficult to find. We've heard this enough times that we've stopped being surprised — and started writing better directions. The other thing we've noticed: the views from up here are magnificent. Mountains, open sky, forest. Some places earn their approach.

Almost everyone who stays here has a small getting-lost story. Ask for yours at check-in. It tends to be the beginning of something good.
